Human Resource Executive

About the role

The Human Resource Executive role will have a strong focus on recruitment, employee relations, workforce planning and day-to-day HR operations, while working closely with management and department heads to support the company's manpower needs and continued growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer preparation, onboarding and manpower planning across operational and corporate positions
• Monitor the employment market and benchmark salaries, benefits and hiring packages against relevant industries and competitors to support recruitment and retention
• Handle employee relations and industrial relations matters, including disciplinary cases, investigations, performance issues, grievances and related HR documentation
• Manage employee lifecycle matters including confirmation, transfers, promotions, resignations and termination processes
• Review and maintain HR policies, procedures and employment documentation in accordance with Malaysian employment laws and current HR practices
• Work closely with department heads and operations teams on manpower requirements, attendance, employee performance and other workforce-related matters
• Coordinate employee training, development and engagement initiatives
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR reports and HR system data
• Support improvements and digitalisation of HR processes, systems and reporting

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a generalist role
• Good practical knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and employee/industrial relations
• Strong recruitment experience, with the ability to understand manpower requirements and market hiring conditions
• Experience supporting operational, frontline, shift-based or sizeable workforces would be an advantage
• Experience in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, construction, retail, hospitality or other manpower-intensive industries would be advantageous
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to work with employees and managers across different levels
• Strong problem-solving, organisation and documentation skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS or HR systems would be an advantage
