IT Recruiter Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end IT recruitment process, from sourcing candidates to onboarding.
• Source candidates through Naukri, LinkedIn, Shine, Monster, referrals, and other recruitment portals.
• Understand job descriptions and identify candidates with the required technical skills and experience.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial HR screening, and assess candidate suitability.
• Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and follow up on interview feedback.
• Negotiate salary, confirm notice periods, and manage candidate expectations.
• Maintain candidate trackers, recruitment reports, and database updates.
• Ensure timely closure of open positions and meet recruitment targets.
• Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for current and future requirements.
• Follow up with selected candidates until joining and ensure a smooth onboarding process.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline; HR or management qualification preferred.
• Good understanding of IT skills such as Java, .NET, Python, SAP, Cloud, Data Engineering, Testing, and other technical domains.
• Hands-on experience with Naukri, LinkedIn, Shine, or other recruitment portals.
• Strong resume sourcing, screening, and candidate assessment skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple requirements and work in a target-driven environment.
• Good coordination, follow-up, and time management skills.
• Freshers with strong communication and a willingness to learn recruitment may also apply.
