Human Resource Executive

Role & responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end recruitment for plant roles (labour, supervisors, QC, maintenance, admin)
• Maintain daily attendance, shift rosters, leave records and overtime for plant staff and contract labour
• Process monthly payroll inputs and coordinate PF, ESI and professional tax compliance
• Maintain statutory records and registers under the Factories Act, Contract Labour Act and Minimum Wages norms
• Manage onboarding, joining formalities, ID cards, documentation and induction
• Coordinate with labour contractors on headcount, wages and compliance
• Handle employee grievances, discipline and exit formalities
• Support safety training, welfare activities and audit documentation
• Prepare monthly HR MIS (headcount, attrition, absenteeism, overtime)

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate or MBA/PGDM in HR or a related field
• 25 years of HR/admin experience in a manufacturing, agro or food processing plant
• Working knowledge of PF, ESI, bonus, gratuity and basic labour laws
• Experience handling large blue-collar workforce and contract labour
• Comfortable with MS Excel and attendance or payroll software
• Fluent in Bengali and Hindi, with working English
• Willing to be based at the plant in Purba Bardhaman
• Firm yet approachable, able to manage workers and handle conflictsRole & responsibilities
