Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic, hands-on HR Generalist to take complete ownership of our human resources function. In this dual-impact role, you will lead end-to-end talent acquisition to scale our multi-disciplinary teams (engineering, operations, packaging design, and sales) while managing daily HR operations, employee engagement, compliance, and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Talent Acquisition (Recruitment)

• Full-Cycle Hiring: Manage requirement gathering, sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, and offer negotiations across tech, B2B sales, supply chain operations, and packaging engineering.
• Multi-Channel Sourcing: Leverage portals (Naukri, LinkedIn Recruiter, headhunting, referrals, and specialized forums) to build strong candidate pipelines.
• Stakeholder Management: Work directly with founders and functional leads to map hiring requirements and cut time-to-hire.

2. Onboarding & Employee Lifecycle Management

• Design and facilitate seamless onboarding, documentation, orientation, and background verification (BGV) processes.
• Track probation periods, conduct regular check-ins, and manage exit formalities (knowledge transfer, clearances, exit interviews).

3. HR Operations & Payroll Coordination

• Manage daily HR operations using HRMS platforms (e.g., Keka, Darwinbox, GreytHR).
• Maintain accurate employee records, manage attendance and leave management systems, and coordinate monthly payroll processing with finance.

4. Performance Management & Engagement

• Assist leadership in driving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs/OKRs) and conducting bi-annual or annual performance appraisal cycles.
• Plan and drive team-building activities, cultural initiatives, open-house sessions, and employee wellness programs.

5. HR Policies & Compliance

• Formulate, update, and implement startup-friendly HR policies, workplace safety guidelines, and SOPs.
• Ensure basic adherence to statutory compliance standards and labor regulations.

Key Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 2-3 years in a blended HR role (Talent Acquisition + HR Operations), preferably within a venture-backed startup, supply chain, logistics tech, or fast-paced B2B organization.
• Recruitment Expertise: Strong hands-on experience using Naukri (Resdex), LinkedIn, and Boolean searching to close both technical and operational positions.
• HR Tools: Proficiency with modern HRMS tools (Keka, GreytHR, Darwinbox, or similar) and basic MS Office/Excel skills.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, communication, candidate negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Mindset: Highly accountable, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and capable of operating independently in a dynamic startup environment.
