About the Role:

The HR Generalist will support the HR team with day-to-day recruitment and HR activities. The person will work closely with the HR Leader and help manage the employee lifecycle, from hiring and onboarding to employee support and exit processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support hiring activities including sourcing, screening, interview coordination and candidate follow-ups.
• Coordinate employee onboarding and make sure all required documents are completed.
• Maintain employee records and keep HR data and trackers updated.
• Handle day-to-day HR activities and employee-related requirements.
• Respond to employee queries and coordinate with the concerned teams when needed.
• Support attendance, leave, and other employee-related records.
• Assist with employee lifecycle activities from joining to exit.
• Support performance follow-ups and other employee-related activities.
• Coordinate employee changes, transfers and other HR requirements.
• Support employee termination and exit processes, including documentation and follow-ups.
• Make sure exit records and related information are properly updated.
• Prepare HR reports, trackers and regular updates when required.
• Support the HR Leader with HR processes, projects and day-to-day requirements.
• Identify issues in day-to-day HR work and help improve the process.
• Coordinate with employees and managers on HR-related requirements.
• Follow up on assigned HR work and make sure it is completed on time.
• Handle employee information with appropriate confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements:

• 2 - 5 years of experience in HR Generalist / HR Operations roles.
• Hands-on experience in recruitment and employee lifecycle activities.
• Good understanding of HR operations, onboarding and employee documentation.
• Experience handling employee exits and termination-related activities.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Bengali will be an added advantage.
• Comfortable working with Excel/Google Sheets and HR systems.
• Good coordination and follow-up skills.
• Good understanding of employee-related situations and a practical approach to handling them.
• Quick learner who can understand processes and work independently.
• Good people-handling and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup.
