INTERNSHIP COMPENSATION
12,500 per month + 2,000 performance bonus per month, paid quarterly based on performance.

ROLE
We are looking for a proactive, dynamic and energetic HR Intern who is willing to take ownership of day-to-day HR activities and build a long-term career with Matayo.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support end-to-end recruitment: sourcing, screening, interview coordination and joining.
• Manage employee attendance and leave records.
• Prepare monthly salary/payroll inputs, including attendance, leave, LOP, incentives and other applicable inputs.
• Manage employee onboarding and exit formalities.
• Maintain employee records, HR files and HR trackers.
• Coordinate with employees and department heads for pending HR activities.
• Support HR policies, employee engagement and HR initiatives.
• Prepare basic HR MIS and reports and maintain confidentiality.
• Proactively follow up and ensure HR activities are completed on time.

The candidate should be comfortable taking responsibility, following up with stakeholders and completing tasks without constant supervision.
QUALIFICATION

• MBA / PGDM- HR
• BBA / BBM
• B.Com / BA or equivalent
• Freshers are welcome.

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE

• Basic recruitment and HR operations
• MS Excel / Google Sheets
• Payroll and attendance management
• HRMS knowledge
• Basic understanding of Indian HR/statutory requirements

AI USAGE
Matayo supports responsible use of AI tools for productivity. However, candidates must demonstrate independent thinking, practical understanding and ownership. Candidates who depend entirely on ChatGPT/Claude for their work or cannot explain their own work will not be suitable for this role.
