Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end hiring, selection processes, and structured onboarding programmes for new team members.
• Performance management – Design and oversee appraisal cycles, KPI frameworks, and performance improvement plans across the organisation
• Compliance & policy – Ensure full adherence to labour laws, develop HR policies, and manage employment documentation and audits.
• Employee relations – Handle grievances, disciplinaries, and conflict resolution while driving wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
• Talent development – Lead L&D strategy, succession planning, and leadership pipeline development to build internal capability.
• Strategic HR partnership – Partner with leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives, provide people analytics, and support org design.
• Manage Payroll and benefits for employees in accordance to local law

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience in Human Resources
• 5+ years’ experience in Human Resources
• Strong knowledge of Zambia labour law and HR compliance
• Proven experience in a generalist or senior HR role
• Experience in policy drafting & implementing
• Experience partnering with senior leadership on people strategy
• Attention to detail and good judgement
