Human Resource Manager

Job Summary

The HR Manager Recruitment is responsible for leading the end-to-end recruitment function for both corporate and retail sales operations. This role is for hiring for Department Heads, corporate positions, and retail sales staff while managing HR Recruitment team members. The HR Manager ensures timely closures, maintains recruitment quality, drives stakeholder coordination, and achieves hiring targets within defined timelines.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

Recruitment Management

• Lead end-to-end recruitment for Department Heads, corporate positions, and retail sales staff.
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to meet organizational manpower requirements.
• Ensure all open positions are closed within the defined hiring timelines.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and recruitment priorities.
• Monitor and manage store-wise manpower gaps and prepare hiring plans accordingly.

Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and manage HR recruitment team members.
• Allocate recruitment requirements among team members based on workload and priorities.
• Conduct regular team meetings to review hiring progress and resolve challenges.
• Monitor recruiter productivity, sourcing effectiveness, and closure ratios.
• Review daily, weekly, and monthly recruitment reports submitted by the recruitment team.

Candidate Screening & Interview Coordination:

• Review sourced and shortlisted candidate profiles received from HR recruitment team.
• Conduct profile evaluations and shortlist candidates for the next stages.
• Coordinate interviews with Sales Managers, TSMs, RSMs, Department Heads.
• Conduct final HR interviews to assess candidate suitability, cultural fit, and salary expectations.
• Handle salary negotiations and finalize compensation within company guidelines.
• Ensure smooth offer rollout and candidate acceptance.

Offer Management & On boarding:

• Ensure timely release of offer letters and completion of pre-joining formalities.
• Coordinate on boarding activities to ensure candidates join within the committed timelines.
• Track joining status and proactively manage offer dropouts or delays.
• Maintain a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.

Post-Joining Follow-up

• Monitor new joiners during the initial on boarding period.
• Collect regular feedback from TSMs, RSMs, and reporting managers regarding new employee performance and integration.
• Coordinate with business teams to address any concerns during the probation period.
• Track retention of new hires and identify opportunities to improve recruitment quality.

Recruitment Planning & Reporting

• Maintain accurate recruitment trackers, dashboards, and MIS reports.
• Analyse recruitment metrics such as Time-to-Hire, Time-to-Fill, Offer Acceptance Rate, Joining Ratio, and Attrition of New Joiners.
• Share periodic recruitment status reports with senior management.
• Ensure recruitment activities comply with company policies and hiring standards.

Preferred Experience

• 710 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in Retail, FMCG, Shopping mall, education industry, Recruitment firms.
• Experience in handling bulk retail hiring along with leadership and Department Head recruitment.
• Proven experience managing a recruitment team.
• Strong understanding of retail manpower planning and recruitment operations.
