Human Resource Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Human Resource Officer to join Autobot Autoworks, Inc. in Quezon City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position within our Human Resources department, where you will play a vital role in supporting the organization's growth and success by managing key HR functions, employee relations, and talent development initiatives. As a Human Resource Officer, you will be instrumental in ensuring our workforce remains engaged, motivated, and aligned with our company values and objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Recruit, screen, and onboard new employees whilst ensuring compliance with all relevant employment legislation and company policies
• Develop and implement employee relations strategies that foster a positive workplace culture and enhance employee satisfaction
• Manage employee records, maintain HR databases, and ensure accurate documentation of personnel files
• Administer employee benefits, payroll, and leave management systems
• Conduct performance management activities including appraisals, feedback sessions, and capability discussions
• Provide HR guidance and support to managers and employees on workplace policies, procedures, and employment matters
• Organize and facilitate employee engagement programs, training initiatives, and professional development opportunities
• Assist in ensuring the organization complies with employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices
• Support the development of HR policies and procedures that align with organizational strategy
• Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters in accordance with company procedures

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience working in a Human Resources function or related HR consulting role
• Strong knowledge of Philippine employment laws, labour regulations, and compliance requirements
• Proven experience in recruitment and selection processes, including job advertising and candidate assessment
• Excellent understanding of employee relations, performance management, and organisational development
• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office applications
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR matters professionally
• Certification in Human Resources (e.g., CHRP, PHR, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential
• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is advantageous
