Human Resource Officer

Job Summary

The overall duties of a Human Resource Officer in TASTIA Restaurant Bakery and Cafe includes managing various aspects of the employee lifecycle within an organization, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. They play a key role in implementing HR policies and procedures, as well as fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Essential Duties/ Responsibilities

• Efficiently carry out day – day HR activities
• Manage end to end recruitments and onboarding
• Conduct routine headcount and monthly confirmation payroll
• Foster a positive workplace culture and lead workers engagement initiatives
• Handle employee relations issues and resolve conflicts effectively
• Handle HR documentation and reporting
• Perform clerical duties such as responding to mails, photocopying and filing

Requirements and skills

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to resolve conflicts along with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior supervisory or managerial experience ideally in the food industry
• Excellent leadership skills
• Knowledge of food safety standards and health regulations
• Excellent communication skills
• Flexibility to adjust objectives and priorities as work demands change
• Knowledge of inventory controlAttention to detail
• Applicants must live within Asaba

Pay: ₦100,000.00 - ₦150,000.00 per month

Education:

• Higher National Diploma (Required)
