About the role

ROAD2GO TRUCKING SERVICES OPC is seeking a dedicated Human Resource Specialist to join our dynamic HR team. This is a full-time position based in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our HR operations and contributing to the development and implementation of people-focused initiatives that align with our company's strategic objectives. As a Human Resource Specialist, you will bridge the gap between management and employees, ensuring that our workforce remains engaged, motivated and compliant with all relevant policies and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination and onboarding of new employees
• Maintain and update employee records, including personnel files, attendance records and performance documentation
• Support the administration of payroll, benefits and leave management systems
• Coordinate employee training and development programmes to enhance skills and career growth
• Assist in the implementation and communication of HR policies, procedures and company regulations
• Handle employee relations matters, including grievance procedures, disciplinary actions and conflict resolution
• Support the organisation of HR events and employee engagement activities
• Ensure compliance with labour laws, regulations and statutory requirements in the Philippines
• Prepare HR reports and analytics to inform decision-making and strategic planning
• Provide administrative support to the HR department and senior management

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in HR functions, preferably in a consulting, generalist or operational HR role
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labour laws and employment regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with employees at all levels
• Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and administrative capabilities
• Experience with recruitment, employee relations or payroll administration is highly desirable
• Professional certification such as CHRP (Certified Human Resource Professional) or equivalent is preferred
• Knowledge of best practices in HR consulting and employee engagement is an advantage
