Human Resources Generalist

Location: Duluth, GA
Reports To: CEO
Employment Type: Full-Time | Exempt

We’re looking for a hands-on and experienced Human Resources Generalist to lead all HR operations for our property management company. In this key role, you’ll be responsible for day-to-day HR functions and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, reporting directly to the CEO. You’ll handle everything from employee relations and compliance to benefits and payroll administration—helping ensure a positive and compliant workplace across multiple states, including California.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage all HR operations, including employee relations, compliance, benefits, and performance support
• Advise leadership on HR issues, policy development, and best practices
• Handle complex employee concerns, investigations, and conflict resolution
• Ensure compliance with multi-state employment laws—including California
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle changes
• Administer benefits and support payroll using ADP Workforce Now
• Create reports and insights to support executive decision-making
• Solve problems and make recommendations for improving efficiency and performance
• Foster a positive and compliant workplace culture

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of HR generalist experience with leadership responsibilities
• Strong knowledge of multi-state employment laws, including California
• Experience resolving employee relations issues and conducting investigations
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now (required)
• Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
• Self-motivated, analytical problem solver that can work proactively with minimal supervision.
• HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus
• Experience in property management or real estate is a bonus
