Human Resources & Admin Manager

About the role

Lead and manage the overall HR and administrative functions within a growing food manufacturing company. This role offers exposure to a wide range of HR and employee-related matters, with opportunity to develop the HR function and work closely with Management and different departments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the overall HR and administrative functions
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and initiatives
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and staff development
• Oversee payroll, attendance, leave and employee records
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and HR regulations
• Manage foreign worker and manpower-related matters
• Handle disciplinary, grievance and employee relations issues
• Work closely with Management on manpower planning and HR strategies
• Support performance management, training and employee engagement
• Ensure smooth daily HR and administrative operations

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 10 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR practices
• Experience in payroll, recruitment, employee relations and foreign worker management
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
• Good problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Mature, responsible and highly organised
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
