What You Will Do
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Human Resources, you will play an important role in supporting our employees and healthcare providers from recruitment and onboarding through credentialing and ongoing compliance. In this role, you will:
- Manage provider credentialing, recredentialing, privileging, and payer enrollment. Ensure records are accurate, current, and compliant.
- Maintain provider profiles and rosters. Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and insurance partners to support timely enrollment and billing.
- Coordinate pre-hire and onboarding activities, including background checks, employee health documentation, orientation, and required training.
- Support recruiting, applicant tracking, HR compliance, policy administration, and other HR initiatives.

- At least three years of healthcare provider credentialing experience.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, professionalism, and exceptional service.
What We Are Hoping For
- Experience supporting Human Resources functions.
- Knowledge of employment law and healthcare compliance requirements.
- Experience with MedTrainer and Microsoft Office.
- Experience working in an FQHC or other community-based healthcare setting.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position is $55,000 to $70,000 depending on experience. IWS Family Health provides a competitive salary and benefits plan, including generous Paid Time Off (PTO), paid holidays, health, dental, life, disability and vision insurance options, a medical expense reimbursement plan, and a 403(b) option.
Why You Should Work With Us
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven, growing FQHC. You will have a unique role that combines provider credentialing with Human Resources, where you can use your expertise to build out the credentialing function and develop across other areas of HR. Together, we will ensure our employees and providers have a positive experience from the very beginning.
The position is based at our Logan Square headquarters and offers the flexibility of some hybrid work.
Our Ideal Candidate
You are experienced, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of your work. You enjoy managing a process from beginning to end, working collaboratively, and supporting healthcare providers and other employees. Most importantly, you understand that behind every credentialing file, onboarding checklist, and HR process is a person who deserves a welcoming and professional experience.
