Human Resources Assistant

We are seeking a Human Resources Assistant to join our team! The Human Resources Assistant is an important addition to the HR Team and is responsible for the administrative support and day-to-day operations of the Department. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, ethical, and self-motivated professional with the ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of personnel files;
• Accurately complete HRIS data entry;
• Perform reference, background and credit checks, education and employment verification, along with other necessary or mandated new hire functions;
• Assist employees with basic interpretation of HR inquiries;
• Support a variety of Human Resources projects;
• Accurately and promptly reply to phone, e-mail and in-person inquiries to the HR Department;
• Provide additional clerical support for the HR department.

Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent and/or human resources degree or certification
• Prior human resources related experience preferred
• HRIS, ADP Workforce Now knowledge desired
