Human Resources Assistant

You will work alongside the HR Manager, supporting recruitment and employee administration while learning how a human resources team operates. This is a practical starting point for someone ready to build a career in HR.

Help make every introduction a good one

• Schedule interviews and send candidates clear meeting details
• Respond to routine applicant questions by phone and email
• Prepare onboarding documents and help new hires complete their paperwork
• Update employee records and enter information accurately
• Organize orientation sessions, training calendars and meeting materials
• Track outstanding forms and follow up with the appropriate people
• Direct confidential or complex employee questions to the HR Manager

You do not need previous HR experience or a human resources qualification. We are looking for clear communication, basic computer skills and a dependable approach to your work. You should feel comfortable handling sensitive information, checking documents carefully and asking questions when something is unclear.

Training will cover the company’s HR systems and procedures. Your responsibilities will develop as you become confident, with guidance on tasks that require management approval.
