We are recruiting for an HR Assistant to join the Early Careers Development team at a prestigious international law firm in London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with experience supporting trainees, graduates or early careers programmes to develop their career within a highly regarded professional services environment.
You will play an important role in supporting trainee solicitors, future trainees and solicitor apprentices throughout their early careers journey, from onboarding and training through to qualification.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate trainee and early careers onboarding, including inductions, joining communications and right-to-work checks.
- Organise early careers events, induction sessions and development activities.

- Assist with qualification processes, including documentation, scheduling and record-keeping.
- Maintain accurate HR records, trackers and employee information.
- Liaise with internal HR, Recruitment and Learning & Development teams.
- Coordinate with external training providers regarding attendance, results and trainee support.
- Respond to trainee queries and support employee relations and wellbeing matters.
- Help improve HR processes and support wider Early Careers Development projects.

- Confident communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders at different levels.
- Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- The ability to prioritise competing deadlines and manage processes independently.
