HR Assistant – Food Manufacturing

📍 Southall | 💷 Competitive salary | Monday–Friday | 40 hours per week | Permanent

Are you an HR professional with hands-on experience in UK food manufacturing, FMCG production or a factory environment ?

We’re looking for a practical, organised HR Assistant / HR Coordinator to support a busy operational workforce within a growing food manufacturing business.

What we’re looking for:

• 3–5 years’ practical HR experience in a UK manufacturing or production environment
• Experience supporting shop-floor or operational employees
• Good knowledge of UK HR processes and employment legislation
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and HR administration
• Right to Work checks and HR compliance experience
• Fluent English and Hindi to support effective workforce communication; Gujarati, Punjabi or another relevant language is advantageous
• Strong Excel, reporting and administration skills
• CIPD Level 3 or working towards it is advantageous

The role will involve:

• Recruitment, onboarding and employee queries
• Absence, performance and employee relations support
• Contracts, personnel records and HR documentation
• Right to Work checks and compliance
• Payroll, timesheet administration and HR reporting
• Training, employee engagement and general operational support

📍 Important: This is a fully onsite role in Southall, so you must be based locally or within a realistic daily commuting distance.
