Human Resources Assistant - Human Resources Department (Ref: HRA/HRD/08-26)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in daily human resources operations relating to talent acquisition, compensation and benefits and talent development including but not limited to job posting, interview arrangement, benefits administration

• Update and maintain staff personal and leave record in the Human Resources Management System (HRMS)

• Assist in the data collection and preparation of regular HR reports for management review

• Support staff engagement departmental and corporate events

• Provide departmental administrative support including filing, report compilation etc.

• Participate in ad hoc projects such as HRMS upgrade, User Acceptance Test and implementation

• Assist in the research and maintenance of HR and industry information such as HR related legislations, salary survey

• Ensure compliance with relevant Hong Kong/ Macau/ Mainland China legislations and the policies / procedures / guidelines of The Salvation Army

• To perform any other legitimate duties assigned by the Supervisors.

REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology or related discipline with 2 years’ relevant experience; or Fresh Bachelor graduate in related disciplines

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and web applications

• Familiar with Hong Kong employment related ordinances will be an advantage

• Demonstrates discretion in handling confidential information, meticulous, well-organized with strong sense of responsibilities

• A team player with self-motivation, good interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills
