Human Resources Assistant - Part Time

The HR Assistant is the first point of contact for employees and will be a great opportunity for someone who is looking for part-time work in the Human Resources field. This is an in person role, but there is flexibility with the days and hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruiting Support – Schedule interviews, conduct initial phone screens, and assist with candidate communication.
• Onboarding & Training – Coordinate new hire onboarding and recurring training sessions
• Employee Engagement – Assist with employee events and recognition
• Communication – Draft and/or distribute employee communication; provide suggestions to improve engagement
• Team Support – Work with Payroll, Executive Director, and HR Director on projects and daily task
• Administrative – Help maintain and organize employee files/records; handle confidential information; and support special HR initiatives

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or HR-related studies preferred.
• 1–3 years of related administrative, HR, or customer service experience.
• Professional, approachable, and friendly demeanor.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; interest in learning HR systems.
