Human Resources Assistant (Payroll)

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly payroll processing, including attendance and overtime (OT) calculations.
• Monitor and maintain employees’ daily attendance records.
• Calculate trip subsidies/allowances for lorry drivers based on approved trip records.
• Manage the company’s leave management portal, including leave applications and leave balances.
• Monitor attendance of foreign workers under third-party agencies.
• Liaise with foreign worker agents on attendance records, payment and related matters.
• Maintain accurate HR and employee records.
• Assist with general HR administrative duties and other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant HR/payroll experience preferred.
• Experience in payroll, attendance and OT calculation is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and HR systems (FlexHR).
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to meet payroll deadlines.
• Good communication and follow-up skills.
• Able to handle confidential employee information.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
