HR Assistant

Location: Remote - Springfield MA area
Job Type: Part-Time – 16 hours per week
Reports To: HR Manager

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized HR Assistant to support our Human Resources department. The HR Assistant will assist with administrative tasks, employee records management, recruitment coordination, onboarding, and day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate is professional, confidential, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update employee files and HR databases.
• Assist with recruiting activities, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding and orientation processes.
• Process employment-related paperwork and documentation.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, and procedures.
• Assist with benefits administration and enrollment activities.
• Support payroll preparation by collecting and verifying employee information.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR department.
