The Retail Liquor Specialists Group is an Australian Company who own and operate multiple liquor stores across NSW and ACT.  This family-owned company has expanded its business operations further, to include an IGA supermarket and liquor store, at a green field site, based in Tamworth NSW.

We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join the team!

Reporting to the General Manager, the Human Resources Business Partner’s (HRBP), overall responsibility is to align the organisation’s people with business strategies.  They are a strategic partner and change agent for the business; responsible for the full suite of human resource functions. This includes: culture & employment engagement; coaching & consulting the leadership team; optimising organisational design; managing employee relations and performance management processes; development of policies and procedures; being up to date with employment legislation.

This permanent fulltime position has become available, as the existing senior human resources business partner transfers to a casual role. The company has a well-defined organisational and HR framework, supported by policies, procedures and processes; a thorough induction process will be provided to the successful candidate.

Essential Selection Criteria

1.      Bachelor or Master Degree in Human Resource Management

2.      3-5 years of HRBP experience

3.      Direct experience in human resource management, with responsibility for the full suite of human resource functions

4.      Adept with performance management and investigations

5.      Expertise in relevant employment laws, awards, standards and other related compliance

6.      Demonstrated ability with training and development plans

7.      Adept in developing succession plans

8.      High level verbal and written communication skills with ability to advise on organisational communication related to human resources

9.      Capacity to work flexibly and proven ability to prioritise workload independently

Desirable Selection Criteria

1.     AHRI Certification

2.     A working knowledge of the General Retail Industry Award
