Human Resources Business Partner

About the Role

As a trusted advisor, you will partner with managers and leaders to deliver practical and commercially focused people solutions. You'll provide expert guidance across a broad range of HR activities while helping to drive initiatives that support organisational success.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing strategic and operational HR advice to leaders
• Coaching managers on performance, development and employee relations matters
• Supporting organisational change and workforce planning initiatives
• Managing complex employment relations issues and investigations
• Contributing to people projects and organisational improvement initiatives
• Using people data and insights to support informed decision-making
• Supporting remuneration, talent, engagement and culture initiatives
• Reviewing and improving HR policies, processes and practices

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll bring:

• Proven experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, Senior HR Advisor or similar
• Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practice
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
• Experience providing advice on complex people matters
• Strong coaching, influencing and communication skills
• The ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
• A collaborative approach and a passion for achieving positive people outcomes
