Human Resources Business Partner

This organisation has recently been established through acquisition, and the People and Culture team is being built out right now. They are looking for capable HR Business Partners who want real ownership and the chance to help shape how HR works from the start.

The role

You will partner with your own group of key stakeholders and be their go to person for the day to day. That means building strong relationships, understanding what each leader is trying to achieve and adding value where it counts: workforce planning, leadership coaching, change and capability.

Employee relations is a real part of the role too. You will manage the everyday matters that come up with confidence and sound judgement. For the more serious and complex allegations, you will have the support of a specialist Workplace Relations Manager. It suits someone who values ER, and understands why it matters, and wants to do it well alongside the partnering work.

What you will do

• Own the relationship with your key stakeholders and be their trusted HR contact
• Provide practical, commercial advice on the full range of people matters
• Lead day to day employee relations, from early conversations through to resolution
• Escalate and work closely with the ER specialist on complex matters
• Coach leaders to build their confidence in people management
• Help shape and embed new ways of working as the HR team grows
• Organisational Design

About you

• Experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR generalist, ideally in a multi site workforce
• Solid employee relations experience, and a good understanding of why it is so important
• Confidence building relationships with senior stakeholders and working with front line teams
• A commercial, hands on approach and comfort in a fast moving environment
• Calm, clear and pragmatic when things get busy
