About the role

As an HR professional at PT YonMing Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations. Based in North Jakarta, Jakarta, this full-time position will involve providing strategic legal advice and support to the broader HR team, safeguarding the organisation's interests while upholding the rights of its employees.

What you'll be doing

• Providing comprehensive legal counsel on all HR-related matters, including employment contracts, terminations, benefits, payroll, and workplace policies
• Staying up-to-date with the latest labour legislation and regulations, and advising the organisation on how to adapt its practices accordingly
• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating employment contracts and other legal documents to protect the company's interests
• Representing the company in labour disputes and negotiations, ensuring fair and lawful resolutions
• Collaborating with the HR team to develop and implement compliant HR strategies and procedures
• Delivering training and guidance to managers and employees on legal aspects of HR practices
• Staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR legal compliance

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR legal or employment law role, ideally within a corporate environment
• Thorough understanding of Indonesian labour laws and regulations, and the ability to apply them in a business context
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide pragmatic, commercially-focused legal advice
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Familiarity with HR best practices and the ability to contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures
