About the role
As the part-time Human Resources Coordinator, you will support key in-house employee lifecycle administration, including employment documentation, recruitment and onboarding and workforce compliance administration.
You will provide accurate, timely and confidential HR administration, ensuring workforce information remains current, complete and compliant. By coordinating efficient recruitment and onboarding processes, you will help managers appoint and induct new team members efficiently and safely.
You’ll be a clear, confident communicator who builds positive working relationships and brings a practical, customer-focused approach. Well organised and comfortable using your judgement, you’ll be able to work independently and keep people informed.
With an average of 10 hours onsite each week, you’ll know how to make your time count by prioritising compliance-critical work, maintaining momentum between onsite days and responding flexibly to changing operational needs. You’ll enjoy creating practical systems and workflows that make HR administration easier and more efficient.
Responsibilities will include:
- Keeping employment documentation, workforce records and compliance evidence accurate, current and audit ready.
- Coordinating recruitment, pre-employment checks, onboarding and training or credentialing records.
- Applying established HR policies and privacy requirements consistently, and escalating matters outside the role scope promptly.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
- Relevant HR study or experience in HR administration, recruitment and payroll support.
- Practical knowledge of NZ employment practices, privacy obligations, employee documentation and workforce compliance requirements.
- Good attention to detail, sound judgement and a professional, confidential approach.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office, HR/payroll systems and practical compliance processes.
