What they need

HR & Hiring Coordinator

Peachtree Roofing & Exteriors | Roswell, GA (On site) | Full time | $65,000

About us

Peachtree Roofing & Exteriors has served the Atlanta area since 2013, and our sister company, TC Roofing & Restorations, serves Dallas-Fort Worth. We're self-owned, not private equity, and we plan to open six new markets over the next eight years. We say we're a team, not a family: we hold each other accountable, we have the tough conversations respectfully, and we do what we say we're going to do, for each other and for every homeowner.

About the role

This is a hiring-first role. Most of your time will go to finding, screening, and recommending the people who join our team, especially commission-based sales associates for our Dallas office.

This isn't funnel work or checklist recruiting. We've built a hiring process that goes deep on every candidate: screenings, video review, tiered interview guides, and written recaps that our department heads actually read and trust. You'll be the person holding that standard. We're looking for someone who can read people, put their read into words a hiring manager can act on, and respectfully hold the line with a department head when something doesn't add up.

You'll report into our holding company and support both offices, with trained, hands-on support from the person who built this process.

What you'll do: Hiring (the heart of the job)

  • Run the full hiring cycle: post and manage listings on LinkedIn, Indeed, and Facebook, review resumes, and source candidates.
  • Conduct screenings over Google Meet and write clear, specific candidate recaps with a recommendation: move forward or not.
  • Partner with department heads on what each role needs, and coordinate interviews, ride-alongs for sales candidates, and skills tests.
  • Keep a steady pipeline moving so our sales managers always have strong candidates to meet with.
  • Run background and driving record checks, manage offers, and close the loop with every candidate, including the ones we don't move forward.
  • Keep our hiring tracker accurate and up to date, and organize all candidate notes and files in Google Drive.

What you'll do: HR (the people side)

  • Own onboarding from start to finish, so every new hire walks in on day one with their training plan, equipment, accounts, and workspace ready.
  • Gather talent maps and 30/60/90 plans from department heads before a role is posted, and use them through each new hire's first 90 days.
  • Handle offboarding: account shutdowns, equipment return, and the documentation that protects the company.
  • Maintain confidential employee files and document retention across both offices.
  • Help department heads with write-ups, employee relations documentation, and policy questions.
  • Keep the employee handbook current and run annual sign-offs and driving record updates.

Payroll and benefits are handled by our Payroll and Benefits Specialist, so this role stays focused on people.

Who you are

  • You've personally screened and interviewed candidates, and you've made the call to say no when something felt off.
  • You hire for mindset, not just experience. Hunger, coachability, and ownership matter more to you than a perfect resume.
  • You write clearly and specifically. Your notes describe what you saw, not just adjectives.
  • You can disagree with a manager respectfully, back it up, and still support the final decision.
  • You're organized, discreet, and comfortable working in Google Drive, Docs, and Sheets.
  • You want to grow with a company that's growing.

Nice to have

  • Experience hiring commission-based or field sales roles.
  • Experience supporting more than one location.
  • Experience in roofing, construction, or home services.

Why join us

  • $65,000 starting salary.
  • Health, vision, and dental, with the base tier 100% covered by the company.
  • 401(k) with a company match after six months.
  • 10 PTO days your first year, plus 10 paid holidays and 3 sick days.
  • Your own private office.
  • A real growth path: as we expand into new markets, this role grows with us, including building out an HR team over time.
  • Team lunches, quarterly team meetings, and a company holiday party we go all out for.

Our hiring process

A video screening, an in-person meeting and skills test, a background and driving record check, and a final meeting with our CEO.

Other offers great for you!
