· Verify and track professional licenses, certifications, registrations, and expirations; promptly follow up on missing or expiring credentials.

· Create, organize, maintain, and audit confidential personnel files to ensure records are complete, current, and readily available for internal and external review.

· Coordinate and track orientation, annual mandatory training, competency requirements, acknowledgments, and renewal deadlines.

· Initiate, document, and monitor CORI, SORI, and other required background or exclusion screenings in accordance with agency policy and applicable requirements.

· Maintain HR tracking logs, spreadsheets, databases, and reminder systems for time-sensitive requirements.

· Assist with recruitment activities, interview scheduling, employment communications, and pre-employment documentation.

· Respond professionally to routine employee questions and direct complex matters to appropriate leadership.

· Support personnel-file audits, compliance reviews, corrective follow-up, and preparation for surveys or program monitoring.

· Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard employee and applicant information.

· Perform other HR and administrative duties as assigned to support agency operations.

Required Qualifications

· Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

· At least two years of experience in human resources, healthcare administration, compliance, or a related role.

· Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Experience maintaining confidential records and handling sensitive information with discretion.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and shared electronic filing systems.

· Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

· Ability to work independently, follow established procedures, and communicate concerns promptly.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience working in a behavioral health, healthcare, human services, or Adult Foster Care setting.

· Knowledge of employee onboarding, credential verification, personnel-file standards, and annual training compliance.
