Human Resources Coordinator

Job Summary

Duties

• Facilitate talent acquisition processes by sourcing candidates through HR systems such as ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and conducting interviews to identify top talent.
• Manage employee orientation programs to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the company culture and understand organizational policies.
• Support performance management initiatives by coordinating employee evaluations, tracking progress, and assisting managers with feedback sessions.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act), workers' compensation, and other health-related benefits, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in HR legal compliance management by maintaining accurate records related to employment law, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations, and affirmative action planning.
• Oversee HRIS (Human Resources Information System) data entry and analysis using tools like Excel for reporting on workforce metrics and HR data collection.
• Collaborate on organizational design projects, workforce management strategies, and succession planning efforts to support long-term business objectives.
• Handle confidential information with integrity while providing exceptional communication support across all levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HR department functions with a solid understanding of human resources management principles.
• Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, HR legal compliance, and regulatory requirements such as OSHA standards.
• Proficiency in HR systems including Oracle HCM, UltiPro, Kenexa BrassRing, or similar platforms; experience with ATS is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills combined with project management capabilities to coordinate multiple initiatives effectively.
• Skilled in data analysis using Excel for reporting purposes and HR metrics evaluation.
• Demonstrated ability to handle personnel administration tasks such as payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee relations.
• Ability to manage change effectively through change management strategies and organizational design insights.
• Adept at conflict management, training & development coordination, and fostering positive employee relations.
