This is a highly visible leadership role that combines strategic workforce planning with hands-on execution. The successful candidate will architect and drive a people agenda that enables scale, builds a high-performance culture, and prepares the organisation for transformation in the AI era.
You will serve as both a strategic advisor and an operational leader — equally comfortable designing long-term talent strategy and rolling up your sleeves to implement critical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Business Partnering & Organisation Design
- Partner with the CEO and Executive Team to align people strategy with business growth objectives.
- Lead organisation design, workforce planning, and capability mapping to support scaling across Hong Kong and Mainland China.
- Anticipate talent and structural needs for new products, markets, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on organisational effectiveness and leadership impact.
2. Executive Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead executive and critical talent hiring, including succession pipelines for senior leadership.
- Build proactive talent strategies to secure top talent.
- Develop workforce planning frameworks that balance agility, cost efficiency, and growth.
3. Employer Branding & EVP Development
- Define and articulate FundPark’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
- Strengthen employer brand positioning across Hong Kong and Mainland China.
- Partner with Brand & PR to elevate FundPark’s talent brand in competitive markets.
- Enhance candidate and employee experience across the lifecycle.
4. High Performance Culture & Reward Design
- Design and embed a robust performance management framework aligned with business outcomes.
- Drive accountability, transparency, and outcome-based performance metrics.
- Review and enhance reward structures (fixed, variable, incentives) to reinforce high performance and ownership mindset.
- Coach leaders on performance conversations and talent differentiation.
5. Leadership Development, HiPo & Succession Planning
- Build mid-management and senior leadership development programs.
- Establish and manage a structured High Potential (HiPo) identification and acceleration framework.
- Lead succession planning for critical roles and future leadership pipelines.
- Develop internal mobility and career pathing frameworks to retain key talent.
6. Employee Engagement & Culture Building
- Develop engagement strategies to strengthen employee commitment and productivity.
- Lead employee listening initiatives and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Ensure strong alignment of values and behaviors across geographies.
7. Change Management & Transformation
- Lead change management initiatives linked to business expansion, digitalisation, and operational transformation.
- Drive workforce readiness for AI integration and automation initiatives.
- Support leaders in navigating organisational change and stakeholder alignment.
- Act as project sponsor or lead for key cross-functional transformation initiatives.
8. Cross-Border Workforce & Governance
- Oversee HR operations and compliance across Hong Kong and Mainland China.
- Navigate cross-border employment frameworks, cultural nuances, and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure scalable, compliant, and efficient HR processes.
Job Requirements
Experience & Expertise
- 12+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally in fintech, financial services, technology, or high-growth environments.
- Proven experience as a strategic HR leader reporting to CEO or Executive Team.
- Strong track record in organisation design, executive hiring, performance management, and leadership development.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-border workforce in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
- Experience leading transformation initiatives, particularly digital or AI-related change programs.
- Experience building HR frameworks from growth-stage to scaling organisation is highly preferred.
