Reporting to the EVP, Human Resources of FOX Entertainment, the ideal candidate brings strong business acumen, sound judgment, executive presence, and the ability to build credibility across all levels of the organization. This individual will be comfortable navigating complexity and change, translating business needs into practical HR solutions, and moving seamlessly between strategic priorities and day-to-day execution.

The Director will partner closely with HR Centers of Excellence, including Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, HR Operations, Learning & Development, and Employee Relations, to deliver an integrated and effective employee experience.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop a deep understanding of the business and proactively identify people opportunities, organizational needs, and scalable HR solutions
  • Partner with leaders on organizational design and change initiatives, helping teams navigate periods of growth, transformation, and evolving business priorities
  • Lead talent management and performance processes, including succession planning, talent reviews, development planning, and performance management
  • Drive employee experience and engagement initiatives that strengthen performance, collaboration, and organizational effectiveness
  • Provide thoughtful, solutions-oriented counsel on employee relations matters, partnering with Employment Legal and HR leadership as appropriate
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Compensation on workforce needs, hiring strategies, organizational planning, and competitive offer development
  • Coach and advise managers on employee development, performance, team effectiveness, and management practices
  • Use workforce data, trends, and insights to identify opportunities, influence decisions, and recommend actions
  • Partner across HR functions to ensure programs and practices are effectively implemented and aligned with business needs
  • Support HR initiatives and special projects that advance FOX’s broader people and business strategies
  • Maintain a strong understanding of employment practices, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • 10+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in the entertainment industry, supporting complex, fast-paced, or evolving organizations
  • Broad HR expertise across the employee lifecycle, including talent management, organizational design, employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business priorities and translate them into effective people strategies
  • Excellent judgment and demonstrated ability to navigate complex and sensitive employee matters with discretion
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to adapt effectively to executive, management, and employee audiences
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data and insights to inform recommendations and decisions
  • Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships across HR functions and with stakeholders throughout the organization
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience within media, entertainment, production, digital, or another rapidly evolving industry
