We're Hiring: HR Director

National / Hybrid — National Travel Required | Full-Time | Network-Wide

Advanced Health Alliance is a growing behavioral health network operating PHP and IOP programs — treating both mental health and substance use — across multiple states, with new locations opening regularly. We're looking for an experienced HR Director to build and lead the HR function that supports our people as we scale.

As HR Director, you won't be maintaining someone else's system — you'll be building and elevating ours. You'll report directly to the COO and partners closely with executive leadership, regional operations, legal team and admissions leadership to make sure every location, current and new, is staffed, supported, and set up to succeed. This is a chance to shape HR strategy and infrastructure for a company in real growth mode, not just administer policy in a mature organization.

What You'll Do

• Build and lead the HR function across Advanced Health Alliance's full network of locations, including new and pending sites as we expand into new markets
• Own full-cycle recruitment strategy and staffing plans across clinical and administrative roles, partnering with department leaders on hiring needs
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on organizational structure, compensation strategy, and workforce planning
• Ensure compliance with employment law and HR regulations across every state where Advanced Health Alliance operates
• Develop, maintain, and roll out HR policies, the employee handbook, and onboarding processes network-wide
• Own and evolve performance management systems — including individual accountability scorecards and corrective action processes — partnering with department leaders on execution
• Manage benefits administration, leave management, and employee relations issues with professionalism and discretion
• Partner with the Real Estate & Facilities and Operations teams on staffing timelines for new location openings
• Be the go-to, trusted resource employees across the network know they can turn to

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including multi-state and/or multi-location oversight
• Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or another licensed, regulated industry strongly preferred
• Strong working knowledge of employment law across multiple states
• Demonstrated experience building or significantly scaling HR infrastructure within a growing organization
• SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and communication skills; comfortable operating at both the strategic and hands-on level
• Ability to travel as needed to support locations across the network

Pay: $85,042.61 - $102,416.91 per year
