HUMAN RESOURCES EXECUTIVE (AMPANG BASED)

Job Summary

GCH Retail (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive and people-oriented Store HR Executive to support the day-to-day Human Resources operations at store level.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Store Manager and employees, with a strong focus on employee relations, recruitment, attendance, HR administration and staff welfare. The role requires someone who is approachable, organised and able to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with store-level recruitment, including candidate screening, interviewing, selection and onboarding of new hires.
• Support daily HR operations, including attendance monitoring, leave management, employee records and personnel documentation.
• Coordinate and communicate HR initiatives, policies and updates to employees and store management.
• Ensure HR policies, procedures and company standards are consistently implemented and followed at store level.
• Provide support in employee relations and staff welfare matters, including employee concerns, grievances, counselling and workplace issues.
• Assist in handling disciplinary matters and ensure proper documentation and follow-up in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor employee attendance, punctuality and absenteeism, and highlight recurring issues to the Store Manager and HR Management.
• Support employee engagement activities and initiatives to promote a positive and productive working environment.
• Assist with payroll-related matters, including attendance, overtime, allowances and other payroll inputs.
• Liaise with Head Office HR on recruitment, employee relations, payroll, benefits and other HR-related matters.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
• Perform any other HR-related duties assigned by the Store Manager or HR Management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably in retail, F&B, hospitality or another fast-paced operational environment.
• Experience in employee relations, recruitment and HR administration is preferred.
• Good understanding of HR practices and employment regulations in Malaysia.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Mature, responsible, approachable and able to maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to work in a store-based environment.
• Willing to work 6 days per week, including weekends and public holidays according to the store's operational requirements.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
