Human Resources Executive

What you'll do

• Manage end-to-end recruitment — job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination and offer management across all departments.

• Source candidates proactively through job portals, social media, walk-in and other creative hiring channels to fill vacancies efficiently.

• Handle onboarding and offboarding for permanent, contract and part-time staff.

• Process monthly payroll accurately and ensure timely statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB).

• Maintain HR records including attendance, leave, employment contracts and staff files.

• Coordinate with external recruitment agencies for high-volume or specialist hiring needs.

• Draft employment letters, HR policies and handbook documentation as the company grows.

• Handle employee inquiries on pay, leave and HR matters in a professional and timely manner.

• Produce HR reports for management — headcount, turnover, recruitment pipeline and leave tracking.

• Ensure HR compliance with the Employment Act 1955, EPF Act, SOCSO Act and applicable Malaysian labour laws.

Who we're looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HR generalist or HR executive, covering recruitment, payroll and employee relations.
• Solid knowledge of Malaysian labour law (Employment Act 1955), EPF, SOCSO and EIS requirements.
• Experience with payroll software (SQL Payroll, QuickHR or similar) is an advantage.
• Comfortable managing multiple hiring pipelines simultaneously — experience with bulk or volume recruitment is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for HR tracking and reporting.
• Strong communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Background in F&B, retail or FMCG is an advantage but not required.
