Human Resources Executive

About the role

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on and experienced Human Resources Executive to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, employee management, training & development, workforce planning, payroll processing and HR reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day HR matters and provide support to employees and management
• Manage employee records, HR documentation and personnel matters
• Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, attendance and leave administration
• Ensure HR policies, procedures and company rules are properly implemented
• Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related matters
• Plan, coordinate and monitor employee training programmes
• Identify training needs and coordinate internal and external training activities
• Assist in manpower planning based on business and departmental requirements
• Coordinate recruitment, interview and onboarding processes
• Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field
• 3–5 years of relevant working experience in Human Resources
• Practical experience in payroll processing and HR reporting
• Good understanding of HR operations, employee relations and employment practices
• Strong organisational, analytical and time-management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently, handle confidential information and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience in employee training and development will be an advantage
• Retail, multi-outlet or fast-paced business HR experience will be an added advantage
