Human Resources Executive

Company Introduction

We are a well - established and rapidly growing company in the food and beverage (F&B) industry. With a portfolio of popular restaurants and a reputation for delivering outstanding dining experiences, we are now looking for an experienced Payroll and Recruitment Officer to join our team. This is a key role that will contribute significantly to the smooth operation of our human resources functions.

Key Responsibilities

* Recruitment

◦ Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for various positions within the company.

◦ Manage the recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, to making hiring decisions and onboarding new employees.

◦ Collaborate with department managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure that recruitment efforts align with business requirements.

* Payroll Management

◦ Oversee and manage the entire payroll process for all employees across our F&B outlets. This includes accurate calculation of salaries, overtime payments, commissions, and deductions, ensuring strict compliance with relevant laws and company policies.

◦ Review and approve payroll data, resolve any discrepancies promptly, and guarantee timely and accurate payroll disbursement.

◦ Generate detailed payroll reports, analyze payroll - related data, and provide insights for cost - control and strategic planning.

* Data Management

◦ Utilize advanced Excel skills to maintain and manage payroll and recruitment - related databases, spreadsheets, and reports.

◦ Create and update templates, automate processes using Excel functions and macros where possible, and ensure data integrity and security.

* Additional Duties

◦ Take on additional human resources projects and tasks as assigned, such as employee record management, performance evaluation support, and labor relation assistance.

◦ Be available to work overtime, especially during peak business seasons, month - end payroll processing, or critical recruitment periods, and handle urgent matters as they arise.

*HR System

• Assist in the implementation, testing and rollout of the new HR system. Prior experience in HR system implementation is preferred.

Requirements

* Skills and Knowledge

◦ Proven expertise in Excel, with the ability to create complex spreadsheets, use advanced functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIFS), build data models, and generate comprehensive reports.

◦ Strong knowledge of payroll processing, labor laws, and tax regulations, preferably with experience in the F&B industry.

* Work Attitude

◦ High level of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

◦ Willingness to take on extra responsibilities and adapt to changing work requirements.

◦ A proactive and solution - oriented mindset, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

* Experience in HR system implementation would be an advantage.

◦ At least 3 years of experience in payroll/Recruitment and Import Labour application management, with some exposure to recruitment functions. F&B industry experience is highly desirable.

* Communication

◦ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
