HUMAN RESOURCES EXECUTIVE

THE ROLE

We are looking for a hands-on HR Executive (Generalist) to support day-to-day HR operations across the employee lifecycle. The ideal candidate should be proactive, organised and comfortable handling employee-related matters.

Experience in Industrial Relations (IR) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) will be an added advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle day-to-day HR operations and employee administration.

Manage employee lifecycle matters including onboarding, confirmation, transfer, promotion, resignation and exit clearance.

Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files and HR documentation.

Monitor attendance, leave, absenteeism and employee records.

Support payroll preparation and ensure HR information is accurate.

Coordinate recruitment, interviews and onboarding of new employees.

Handle employee relations, grievances and disciplinary matters.

Prepare HR and disciplinary documentation including warning and show-cause letters.

Assist in investigations and Domestic Inquiry (DI) where required.

Support performance appraisal, training and employee engagement activities.

Assist in reviewing and implementing HR policies, procedures and SOPs.

Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian employment laws and company policies.

Maintain and update employee information in the HR system / HRIS.

Prepare HR reports and support other HR initiatives as required.

REQUIREMENTS

Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or related field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a generalist role.

Experience or exposure in Industrial Relations (IR), employee relations and disciplinary matters is an advantage.

Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR practices.

Experience using HRIS, payroll, attendance or leave management systems is an advantage.

Experience in retail or a multi-outlet environment will be an added advantage.

Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Strong in documentation, organisation and follow-up.

Able to handle confidential matters professionally.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
