Human Resources Executive

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Executive to join the HR Shared Services Center (HRSSC) in Singapore. This role provides end-to-end HR operational support across Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Europe (EU), delivering efficient services, regulatory compliance, and a positive employee experience. You will work closelywith China headquarters and regional HR teams in a fast-paced, multicultural, and matrixed environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

HR Operations & Shared Services

• Provide HR operational support across APAC and EU, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
• Respond to Tier 1 and Tier 2 employee inquiries via email, communication platforms, and HR ticketing systems within agreed service timelines (SLAs).
• Process HR transactions accurately in internal HRIS systems, maintaining employee records and data integrity.
• Deliver consistent, timely, and culturally sensitive HR services across countries and time zones.

Compliance & Documentation

• Support compliance with local employment laws and regulatory requirements in the markets served.
• Assist with HR audits, data checks, and updates to HR policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and employee handbooks.
• Prepare relevant statutory submissions and HR reports, including Singapore MOM, CPF Board, and IRAS requirements, where applicable.

Cross-Border Collaboration

• Act as a communication bridge between China headquarters, regional HR teams, and other stakeholders across APAC and Europe.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects such as HR system migrations, policy rollouts, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Document best practices, share knowledge, and support onboarding and training of HRSSC team members.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence

• Identify ways to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve HR service quality and efficiency.
• Support process standardization and operational improvement initiatives across regions.
• Apply a continuous improvement mindset and explore HR technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• Approximately 3-5 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Generalist, or HR Shared Services roles; HRSSC experience is preferred.
• Regional HR experience covering multiple countries is advantageous. Strong experience in a single-country but complex environment will also be considered.
• Familiarity with HRIS, employee lifecycle processes, and local HR compliance is an advantage.

Languages & Core Competencies

• English: Excellent spoken and written communication skills are mandatory for regional collaboration.
• Chinese: Proficiency is required for collaboration with China-based stakeholders and support for Mandarin-speaking employees.
• Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, discretion, and a commitment to service quality.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to ambiguity, and work effectively with cross-cultural and remote stakeholders.
• Must be authorized to work in Singapore without employer visa sponsorship. Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents are preferred.
