- Maintain accurate employee records, personnel files, HRIS data, and related documentation; process new hires, terminations, and status changes.
- Support benefits administration, including eligibility tracking, open enrollment, and coordination with brokers and carriers.
- Assist with leave administration, including FMLA, medical leave, and return-to-work documentation.
- Provide front-line HR support for employee questions, policy interpretation, and workplace concerns, escalating sensitive matters appropriately.
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including I-9, EEO, wage and hour, and records retention.
- Coordinate training activities and maintain training and certification records.
What You'll Bring
- 3+ years of experience in human resources, HR administration, recruiting coordination, employee relations, or related people operations preferred.
- Experience in construction, subcontracting, engineering, architecture, real estate development, or another project-based environment strongly valued.
- Experience supporting both office and field personnel preferred.
- Experience with onboarding, employee records, benefits coordination, HRIS data, and compliance documentation required.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- SHRM-CP, PHR, or similar HR certification preferred, or willingness to pursue certification.
- High level of confidentiality, judgment, emotional intelligence, and professionalism.
What You'll Gain
- Base salary of $65,000 to $80,000, based on experience.
- A hands-on HR seat at a well-established, financially stable company with a strong culture and low turnover.
- Direct partnership with executive leadership, operations, and field teams on people strategy as the company grows.
- Onsite role at the company's Winter Park, FL headquarters, Monday through Friday, with flexibility for business needs.
- The chance to build and modernize HR processes as the company scales.
At Framework, we keep it simple: we connect great people with great builders. We're not just filling seats - we're helping construction professionals find real opportunities with companies that value what they bring to the table. Our candidates trust us because we're honest, we follow through, and we never push roles that aren't the right fit. We take the time to understand where you're coming from and where you want to go.
The builders we represent are more than just clients to us. Many of them are friends and longtime partners. If we wouldn't feel confident working for them ourselves, we wouldn't introduce them to the people who trust us with their careers.
On the flip side, our clients count on us to bring high-quality people who are the real deal - both in skill and character. They'll tell you we just get it. We're proud to be the kind of recruiters who do what's right, not what's easy, and we make sure it's a win for everyone involved.
