Title: HR Generalist

Overview:

Hixen Search Group is seeking an HR generalist within the hospitality industry. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day execution of core HR operations, payroll, compliance, benefits and team member relations. Responsibilities:

• Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with labor laws, taxes, overtime and garnishments
• Manage benefits enrollment, eligibility, vendors and payroll deductions
• Manage hiring, onboarding, and offboarding in partnership with hiring managers
• Address employee questions, concerns and conflicts across all locations
• Manage unemployment and workers’ compensation claims, OSHA, compliance and required documentation
• Maintain HR systems, employee records, and the handbook, and provide reports to leadership

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 3-5 years of HR experience
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business or a related field preferred or equivalent experience
• Payroll experience a must
• Experience working with hourly workforce preferred
