Human Resources Generalist

Scott's Lawn Care (SLC) is looking for a highly qualified Human Resources Generalist to join our team at our Maple Plain location. We provide comprehensive services to businesses and residences in the metro area, including lawn and snow maintenance. As an HR Generalist you will be responsible for running the daily functions of the HR department including primarily recruiting, hiring, and interviewing staff, administering payroll and benefits, onboard and offboarding employees, and developing and enforcing company policies and procedures.

Pay Range: $60,000 to $70,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified applicants for open positions; collaborates with managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
• Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
• Works with managers to oversee training and safety programs across all divisions of the company, track progress, and manage training budget.
• Maintains employee records, data, and reporting with the highest degree of confidentiality.
• Plans and executes company-wide meetings and events.
• Administer bi-weekly payroll, distribute checks, and answer employee questions.
• Other duties as assigned.
