Human Resources Generalist

Hanover Public School District is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team! This position is full-time, 12-months, Confidential/non-bargaining unit, and plays a vital role in candidate recruitment, new hire onboarding, statutory clearances compliance, and workers' compensation management. Working directly alongside the Director of HR, the HR Generalist ensures smooth, compliant, and supportive personnel operations across the district. Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, Bachelor's degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and direct experience in public school HR.
• 2-4 years of progressive experience in recruitment, onboarding, or general HR functions.
• Familiarity with Pennsylvania School Code, PA background clearance mandates (Acts 24/34/114/151/168), and TIMS teacher certification protocols preferred.
• Required state clearances upon hire (Act 34 Criminal History, Act 151 Child Abuse, Act 114 FBI Fingerprinting, and Act 24/168 disclosures).
