Role Description The Human Resources Generalist is a full-time, on-site role based in Houston, TX, responsible for delivering day-to-day HR support to leaders and team members across assigned departments. This position manages routine HR functions, including onboarding and offboarding, employee relations support, policy interpretation, and coordination of performance management activities. The HR Generalist assists with benefits-related inquiries, collaborates on leave administration processes, and helps ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws. This role partners closely with management to support staffing needs, maintain accurate HR records, and promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with Crothall’s mission and values. The Human Resources Generalist also participates in HR projects and initiatives that improve processes, enhance employee experience, and support organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with the ability to support day-to-day HR operations in a healthcare or service-focused environment.
• Knowledge of HR Policies and employment regulations, with the capacity to interpret and communicate guidelines clearly and consistently.
• Experience with Employee Benefits and Benefits Administration, including assisting team members with benefits enrollment, inquiries, and problem resolution.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and leadership.
• Proficiency in HRIS and basic office software, with strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Preferred qualifications: prior HR experience in healthcare or large organizations; knowledge of federal and Texas employment laws; and HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR).
• Education: associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
