The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, and comfortable working directly with employees and operational leaders to address day-to-day HR needs while helping maintain a positive, safe, and productive workplace.
Key Responsibilities

- Assist with employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and performance management.
- Support initiatives that promote employee engagement, communication, morale, and retention.
- Maintain accurate employee records and process personnel changes, staffing updates, and attendance documentation.
- Assist with attendance management, leave coordination, and return-to-work processes.
- Provide visible HR support across departments and shifts, ensuring employees have access to timely assistance.
- Support recruiting efforts, including candidate coordination, interview scheduling, and hiring documentation.
- Assist with new hire onboarding, orientation, and integration into the organization.
- Partner with hiring managers to support staffing needs and a positive candidate experience.
- Maintain confidential employee files and ensure HR documentation is accurate and up to date.
- Support compliance initiatives, internal audits, and required reporting.
- Apply company policies and procedures consistently while exercising sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
- Assist with workplace incident follow-up and coordination with appropriate internal stakeholders.
- Support employee accommodations and return-to-work processes.
- Partner with HR and plant leadership to reinforce workplace policies and promote a safe working environment.
- Participate in employee events, engagement initiatives, and HR program implementation.
- Assist with HR reporting, data tracking, and administrative projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and the overall employee experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, Industrial Relations, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in human resources, recruiting, employee support, administration, customer service, leadership, or manufacturing operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn HR information systems and reporting tools.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee matters.
- Willingness and ability to work second shift, Monday through Friday, from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM , as applicable to the plant's schedule.
