Schedule: Mon–Fri | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Overtime as required)
Relocation: Available for qualified candidates
Compensation: DOE | Expected Range: $60,000–$70,000

About the Role

A growing manufacturing operation in Ogden, UT is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support plant-level HR activities, employee relations, onboarding, and workforce engagement.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being visible, approachable, and supportive on the plant floor while maintaining consistent and transparent communication with HR leadership.

Manufacturing HR experience is required for this role.

Reporting Structure & Collaboration

• Reports directly to: HR Manager (Remote / Multi-Site HR Leadership)
• Partners closely with: Plant Leadership, Department Managers & Recruiting Partners
• Core expectations: Communication, alignment, professionalism, and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with employees and leadership across shifts
• Manage recruiting for hourly & manufacturing roles (screening through onboarding)
• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding experiences
• Support HR programs including:
• Employee relations
• Corrective actions & documentation
• Safety & OSHA recordkeeping
• Workers’ Compensation coordination
• Benefit enrollment support
• HRIS data integrity
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies
• Assist with training coordination and required certifications
• Support morale, engagement, and recognition initiatives
• Maintain timely and transparent communication with HR Manager on HR matters
• Handle sensitive employee information with discretion & professionalism

What We’re Looking For

• HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required)
• Strong people skills; comfortable building rapport with an hourly workforce
• Knowledge of: FMLA, OSHA, ADA, EEO, WC & general HR compliance
• Experience with HRIS (Paycom, ADP, Workday, UKG, etc.)
• Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently without micromanagement
• Professional communication skills (written & verbal)
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred (not required)
• SHRM-CP/PHR preferred (not required)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
