Human Resources Generalist (recruitment focused)

JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Human Resources Generalist (Recruitment-Focused) to join our HR team and support the full recruitment and onboarding process for our hotel operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate sourcing and screening, interview coordination, and maintaining accurate candidate records, and other HR duties as required. Possible locations for the position are Osaka, Kyoto, or Nagoya.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage recruitment activities for hotel vacancies from job posting through offer stage
• Provide a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
• Post job advertisements on job boards, social media, and other recruitment channels
• Review and screen resumes and applications and identify qualified candidates
• Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
• Prepare interview materials and communicate interview details to candidates
• Verify candidates’ employment history and information
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system/database
• Coordinate start dates with candidates and hiring managers
• Prepare and coordinate onboarding programs for new hires
• Coordinate access requests for new employees, including email, Microsoft Teams, and other system access

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Experience in overseas/international recruitment is preferred
• Experience with visa applications and immigration procedures is preferred
• Strong knowledge of recruitment practices, including resume screening, interviewing, and candidate assessment
• Demonstrated ability to conduct behavioral interviews and assess candidates effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Japanese proficiency is required
