HR cum Admin Executive

We are looking for a responsible, independent and detail-oriented HR cum Admin Executive to join our construction company.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, payroll, employee relations and HR administration.
• Manage recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate screening, arranging and conducting interviews, and hiring.
• Conduct interviews and assess candidates based on job requirements.
• Handle monthly payroll processing using SQL Payroll.
• Manage employee attendance, leave, overtime, claims, salary deductions and other payroll-related matters.
• Handle statutory matters including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and HRD Corp, where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Malaysian labour laws and employment regulations.
• Prepare HR documents and letters, including offer letters, confirmation letters, warning letters, show-cause letters, resignation and termination letters.
• Handle employee disciplinary and employee relations matters.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
• Handle foreign worker / employee-related documentation where required.
• Provide HR support to both office and site employees.
• Perform other HR and administrative duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of relevant HR experience.
• Must have practical experience using SQL Payroll.
• Good knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and employment regulations.
• Good understanding of payroll processing and statutory contributions.
• Experience in recruitment and conducting interviews.
• Previous HR experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.
• Experience handling site employees / foreign workers will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proactive, responsible and willing to learn.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• AutoCount experience is an added advantage.
