ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are a growing blown film manufacturing company specializing in the production of high-quality plastic film products for commercial and industrial customers. Our manufacturing operation depends on a skilled, dependable workforce and a strong commitment to safety, quality, productivity, and teamwork.

We are seeking an experienced and people-focused individual to oversee our HR operations and help build a positive, accountable, and productive workplace.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day human resources functions, with a strong focus on employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, attendance, performance management, compliance, training, and workplace culture.

This position will work closely with management and production leadership to ensure the company has the right employees in the right roles and that employees understand company expectations, policies, safety requirements, and opportunities for growth.

The ideal candidate has experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or production environment and understands the unique HR challenges associated with shift work, production employees, attendance, overtime, workplace safety, and employee retention.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and hire production and office employees.
• Manage new-hire onboarding and employee records.
• Handle employee relations, complaints, and disciplinary matters.
• Monitor attendance, performance, and employee conduct.
• Coordinate payroll, benefits, and leave requests.
• Maintain company policies and ensure HR compliance.
• Coordinate employee training and safety documentation.
• Support workers' compensation and workplace injury processes.
• Work closely with production managers and supervisors on staffing and employee issues.
• Promote a safe, respectful, and productive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or production.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with hourly employees, attendance, and employee relations.
• Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations professionally.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Willing to work at both Locations (Pacoima and Simi Valley)

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
