Human Resources Intern

Main responsibilities

• Assist with handling employees' enquires on company policies and HR system
• Assist with maintaining employee personnel files and filing
• Assist with the onboarding process, including preparing new hire paperwork, creating accounts on HR system, coordinating induction sessions and ensuring all required documentation is completed
• Assist with employee relations activities, including planning and coordinating employee events
• Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, answering candidates' enquires and conducting reference checks
• Assist with HR projects and any ad-hoc duties, including streamlining procedures, conducting research, and preparing reports

Attributes / skills required

• Students in bachelor's degree programme from any disciplines with an interest to develop a career in the Human Resources field
• Ability to work for at least 2 full days per week during Monday to Friday
• Highly motivated with a growth mindset
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Chinese
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
